Let it be OK to be who you are, say what you want to say, do what you want to do

To wear your hair curly, or maybe straight

To want what you want because it’s what YOU want

And to take a sick day, play hooky, for the perfectly good reason that you don’t feel like working today


Let it be OK to feel your feelings because they’re your feelings and that’s how you feel

To feel sad, to curl up with a blanket on a sunny day and watch movies that make you cry

To feel angry because things didn’t turn out the way you wanted them to

And to feel so amazingly happy when everyone else looks completely miserable


Let it be OK to speak your truth, to share your authentic voice

To share your opinion when it might not be popular 

To let “fuck” be every other word that comes out of your mouth

And to send the wine back because it just doesn’t taste good


Let it be OK to follow your intuition

To go with your hunch

To just feel it in your bones

And to listen to your heart because it speaks the language of your soul


Let be OK to have an ego

To be afraid

To question 

And to want to look as good on the outside as you feel on the inside, or even better


Let it be OK for someone to give you a gift

To smile back at the cute guy who just smiled at you 

To accept help from your Mom, or even a complete stranger

And to graciously receive a generous gift you think is too much


Let it be OK to do the things you think you shouldn’t

To eat raw cookie dough

To hug your pillow on Sunday morning rather than dragging yourself to yoga

And to buy the most expensive pair of shoes you’ve ever bought because you can actual afford them.


Let it be OK to follow your wildest and craziest dream

To quit work and travel the world

To become an entrepreneur and work 80-hours a week because you actually love what you do

And to be happy and content being, doing, living exactly as you are now


Let it be OK where you are today, right now, in this moment

To be grateful for what you have 

To have faith that what you desire is coming

And to want even MORE, because there’s always enough, in fact there’s plenty, and this moment has already transformed into the next. 


No matter where you are, who you are, how you feel, what you want, how you live, let it ALL be OK. 

Simply accept it. All as it is.

There is nothing to judge, no guilt or shame to be experienced

And then, if you want it to be different, change it to whatever you desire it to be

And let that be OK.
