Day 6: MORE: "I Love You"

Now that we've made space by practicing kindness with surrender, let's celebrate ourselves with a little LOVE!

Today I give you one of the sweetest gifts of kindness ever – the gift of self-love.

There's a really awesome book by Kamal Ravikant, that chronicles his personal experience with telling himself, "I love you," called "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It". It's simple, fast, and life changing to say the least.

He learned that by simply telling himself, "I love you," he could pull himself out of depression, attract what he most wanted, and create a life of abundance. It's pretty awe inspiring how much power these three simple words so freely given to others can have when given to ourselves.

This can be a little weird if you're not used to doing it, and some might even find it hard. So, I recommend following Kamal's approach – repeat the words, "I love you," over and over and over and over. Tell yourself in the shower, while you're brushing your teeth, while you're in line for coffee, while you're driving, while you're in shavasana, while typing, while walking, while making love to your lover. Tell yourself this constantly and consistently throughout the day, and just notice how you feel at the end of the day.

Honestly, this isn't a "one-day and done" kind of thing. This is a practice that takes practice. When you can look yourself in the mirror, peer into your eyes, and tell yourself – I LOVE YOU – with the same love and compassion you would anyone else in your amazing life, that, my dear and kind MoreSeeker is when you know you really and truly do.

And don't stop there, this is just the beginning, as in any other relationship we all need to be reminded of how much we are loved, how much we love, and that we are indeed ALL Love.

With MORE:love,
